Friday, March 7, 2008 All bus tours leave promptly from the front of the Ski Hi Building. All donations go to offset the costs of busses and drivers.

Sandhill Sunset Tour 4:00 p.m. Ski Hi Building	Watch hundreds of Sandhill Cranes touch down on the Monte Vista NWR. Donation Requested
The Ivory Billed Woodpecker - Is It Still With Us? 7:00 p.m. Central Auditorium	Jim Harvey tells us what this elusive bird needs to survive, how they go about their daily lives, and what signs they leave us of their presence. Free, Open to the Public

Birders' Breakfast 6:00 a.m. -10:00 a.m. Ski Hi Building	For those of us up with the birds enjoy a pancake breakfast by the Kiwanis Club. Cost: Adult $5, Child $4, Tickets sold morning of breakfast.

Native Aquatic Facility 10:00 a.m. Ski Hi Building	Tour the Valley's Native Aquatic Hatchery. Limit 40 people Donation Requested.

Monte Villa Cocktails 6:00-7:00 p.m Italian Cuisine Dinner 7:00 p.m.	30 Minute Slide Show - Return to the Valley of the Cranes Wendy Shattil & Bob Rozinski Cost $16 (110 seats)
Saturday Workshops Workshops are held at Monte Vista Middle School. Free and open to the public.

Bluebirds-Jennifer Klefner	Learn about these beautiful blue harbingers of spring, and what you can do to improve their chances of survival.
1:00 p.m.
Bird Olympics- Colorado Division of Wildlife	Learn what physical attributes help birds fly, find food and migrate long distances as you participate in the “Bird Olympics”. Great for hands-on learning and fun for kids and families.
Hikes and Flora of the San Juan Mountains- Pam and David Irwin	Multi media program showcasing the best wildflower trails in the San Juan Mountains.
2:00 p.m.
Colorado Birding Trail- CDOW	Participants will be provided with new and updated information about the Colorado Birding Trail including maps and website.
Wildlife Photo Session -Wendy Shattil, Bob Rozinski	Hands on photo field session followed by a short slide show at the school. Limit 40 people Cost $15.00

Craft Fair
Friday 10 am.-4 p.m. Saturday 6 am.-4 p.m. Sunday 9 am.-2 p.m. Ski Hi Building	A variety of arts and crafts and education groups will be available. Kids activities will be offered on Saturday.
